Saying Goodbye To All My Super Villains and Heroes In City Of Heroes: Freedom

Posted in Games on September 24th, 2012 by R.O.M.E.L.O.

Today, I logged in to my old City Of Heroes account to take a screenshot of my characters and to say goodbye to all of them because the game is closing soon. I purchased the original City Of Villains game many years ago and had a great time playing with it. Unfortunately, I was only able to play the game for a few months but, in those few months, I was able to create a few Super Villains in different servers.

My Squad of Superheroes in Super Hero Squad Online

Posted in Games on June 2nd, 2011 by R.O.M.E.L.O.

Super Hero Squad Online is a Superhero Themed MMO that features Superheroes and Super Villains from the Marvel Universe. I’ve been playing this game for some time now and, I must admit, I like playing it. I guess being able to play my favorite Marvel Superheroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man and others is one of the reasons why I like playing this game.

Super Hero Squad Online

The game is basically made for kids because Super Hero Squad Online is based on the Super Hero Squad Cartoon Show shown at Cartoon Network. Honestly, as much as I love my Marvel Superheroes, I’ve only watched the cartoon a couple of times with my kids. I think they like watching Disney’s Phineas and Ferb better than Cartoon Network’s Super Hero Squad Show. Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s Play Plants vs Zombies, It’s FUN!

Posted in Games on April 21st, 2011 by R.O.M.E.L.O.

My kids have been asking me to install Plants vs Zombies on my computer so that they can play it. Fortunately, I came upon a Free Trial of the game, Plants vs Zombies while searching for a “download” extension in Google’s Chrome Web Store. I’m not sure if Plants vs Zombies has anything to do with “downloading” or “download” but it did appear under the Apps section of the search results page.

Clicking on the Plants vs Zombies icon took me to its corresponding page where I was able to install it on my copy of Google Chrome. Installing the Plants vs Zombies App doesn’t really install the game. It only place an Icon of Plants vs Zombies under the Apps section of my Quick Launch Page. Clicking the icon took me to a page where I was able to play a Flash Version of Plants vs Zombies. Read the rest of this entry »

Posted in Games on February 6th, 2011 by R.O.M.E.L.O.

Currently, I am spending most of my online time playing Champions Online. Champions Online is a Superhero Themed MMORPG. It is based on the Champions licensed which is published by Hero Games but the MMO is being developed and published by Cryptic Studios and it is NOW Free-To-Play as well.

Saved Champions Online Costume

I’ve been playing the game since its Free-To-Play Re-launch and I am enjoying it very much. One of the most enjoyable part of the game is the Character Creation because it allows players to create a totally unique character or superhero to play with or use in-game. Another cool thing about the Character Creation in Champions Online is, it lets players save the costume they’ve created in their computers. Read the rest of this entry »

Problems with Shaiya Online?

Posted in Games on January 23rd, 2011 by R.O.M.E.L.O.

Shaiya Online is a Fantasy Themed MMORPG. It’s Free-To-Play and published here in the Philippines by Amped.ph. As with most games installed in my computer, I play Shaiya Online casually. Signed-up for an account at Amped.ph, downloaded and installed the game and plays it when I feel like it.

Shaiya Online Philippines

The first time I tried to run Shaiya Online, I encountered no problems with the game launcher. The problem came after launching the game. The game client would just crash back to desktop without showing any error messages. Without any error messages, searching for a solution online was very hard because I didn’t know what to search for. Read the rest of this entry »
