Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines Released ★ CBS/Paramount Want Fan Films To Live Long And ProsperRecently, CBS/Paramount released a set of Guidelines for those Star Trek Fans who are thinking of making their very own Star Trek Fan Films and it's freaking brilliant.
CBS and Paramount freaking love and appreciate all Star Trek Fan Films and that is why they came up with a set of Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines that will ensure Star Trek Fan Films will continue to grow and prosper.
I'm not going to go through all the Guidelines listed or posted by CBS and Paramount but, if you still haven't read it then simply go to Star Trek's official website.
Basically, the newly created Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines will guarantee that all future Star Trek Fan Films will be nothing more than 15 minutes of home made goodness.
Gone are the days of TV or movie quality Star Trek Fan Films because, unless, everything becomes dirt cheap, making a TV or movie quality Star Trek Fan Film like Axanar for 50,000 USD is literally impossible.
Also, the newly created Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines will boosts the sales of official Star Trek merchandise because only official Star Trek mechandise are allowed in all and any future Star Trek Fan Films.
Now, if you are thinking of casting former Star Trek stars in your Star Trek Fan Films or if you are formerly employed on any Star Trek series then, according to CBS/Paramount, you are not a real Star Trek Fan and thus cannot make a Star Trek Fan Film.
Anyway, these are just some of the awesome Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines CBS and Paramount came up with and, again, you can read the rest of it in the official Star Trek website.
The reason why I think these Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines are awesome is because Star Trek Fans don't really want to see quality Star Trek Fan Films like Axanar and others.
What Star Trek Fans really want to see are the new Star Trek movies and television series because those are real Star Trek. Not these Star Trek Fan Films.
Of course, CBS and Paramount know exactly what Star Trek Fans want and that's why the came up with these Star Trek Guidelines. They love all Star Trek Fans and they want them to continue making their home made Star Trek Fan Films.
So, if you are going to make a quality Star Trek Fan Film with good acting, great special effects, good story and amazing sets then, you better stop it, get in line and follow the Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines because real Star Trek Fans don't want your quality crap.
Remember, Star Trek is not about a hopeful future, it's all about control and dictating what people actually wants and that is exactly what CBS and Paramount are doing. They are just practicing the true spirit of Star Trek.
