In the first quarter, Jeremy Lin only played less than 4 minutes but he played really well in those few minutes. He got himself an offensive rebound, took the ball from Noah's hands like it was nothing, drew a foul from Hinrich and scored 1 point via free throw.

Jeremy Lin only played a total of 9 minutes in the second quarter. According to reports, he asked to be taken out because of a hard fall but he was almost immediately put back in. In this quarter, both his defense and offense were very, very good.

In the second quarter, Jeremy Lin started his offense with an assists to Spencer Hawes, completed two amazing offensive plays and ended it with an assist to Tyler Hansborough who finished the play with a dunk.

On defense, Jeremy Lin made both Derrick Rose and JimmyButler work for their scores. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Butler was able to score on Jeremy Lin. Derrick Rose did score on Jeremy Lin and he did it by making an almost impossible shot. How Derrick Rose made that shot was beyond human understanding.

In the third quarter, Jeremy Lin only played four minutes but he made an impact by stealing the ball twice. One of those steals lead to a fastbreak where he missed his layup because he was bumped hard but no fouls were called.

He grabbed the rebound from his own miss but he was bumped hard again. Fortunately, the referees blew their whistle and called a defensive foul on Jimmy Butler who was kinda staring down on Jeremy Lin.

Now, in the fourth quarter where Jeremy Lin almost played for 10 minutes\ he forced Taj Gibson to commit an offensive foul, fought for a defensive rebound, dished a pass to Spencer Hawes for a 3 point shot, shot over Joakim Noah and grabbed the final defensive rebound.

At the end of the game, Jeremy Lin didn't score a lot of points but his defense and hustle helped the Hornets keep its lead and eventually win the game. He was on the court for 27 minutes and got 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and zero turnovers.

As for me, win or lose, I was very happy with how Jeremy Lin played in this game. If he can get his shooting back (which I'm sure he will) then he'll almost be like a complete player who can play both on both sides of the court.
