Orange County Chopper's 3D rendering of their Ferrari bike looked amazing but the finished bike didn't look amazing at all. Other Ferrari bikes built by other bike builders looked more amazing than the one built by Orange County Chopper in American Chopper: Senior vs Junior.
I just finished watching episode 13 of American Chopper: Senior vs Junior Season 3 and, in this episode, OCC (Orange County Chopper) was building a Ferrari bike for an anonymous high profile client. The drawing or 3D rendering of the bike looked very nice and, because of that, I couldn’t wait for next week’s episode to see the actual bike when it’s unveiled on the show.

Unfortunately, my curiosity got the better of me so I went online and did a Google search for it. What I saw disappointed me because the finished bike didn’t look as good as the 3D rendering of it. The Ferrari bike looked very plain and boring. I’m not sure if it’s because of the lighting and the poor picture but it surely didn’t amaze me like the 3D rendering.
As you can see from the above picture, the 3D rendering of OCC’s Ferrari bike looked awesome and I was expecting the finished bike to look very much like it but that didn’t happen. Well, they do look very similar but the finished bike didn’t have the same wow factor as the 3D rendering.

I guess the 3D rendering didn’t translate well into a real bike because if it did then the bike would have still looked amazing regardless of the quality of the picture. In fact, other Ferrari bikes that were built by other bike builders looked more amazing than the one built by OCC. Just check out the pictures below and compare.
The three Ferrari bikes above looked much better than the one built by OCC. My favorite of the three would be the one by Art On Wheels because it’s not red all over. I also like the Ferrari bike above it because it looks more like a bike that you can ride everyday. Also, the red and black colors of the bike complimented each other real well.
Anyway, I’m sure we’ll see more pictures of OCC’s Ferrari bike after next week’s season finale episode of American Chopper: Senior vs Junior. Also, next week’s episode is interesting to watch because Junior will meet Senior face-to-face and their discussion will be on camera.
