Jeremy Lin In Facebook, Love Or Hate Him

Jeremy Lin now has his own Facebook Profile and Facebook Page but that's not all he got. He also got his very own Facebook Hate Page called Jeremy LIN Sucks. Well, it just shows that no matter who you are, you just can't please nor satisfy everybody.

NBA’s breakout superstar Jeremy Lin now has a Facebook Page and a Facebook Profile. Unfortunately, I have no way of confirming if these are really owned by Jeremy Lin himself. Jeremy Lin is currently New York Knicks’ starting point guard and he lead the team to 7 consecutive victories without Knicks Superstar Carmelo Anthony. These bolstered Jeremy Lin’s name into super-stardom and Lin-sanity was born but the reason why I’m impressed with him is not because he is winning basketball games but because of how he got to where he is now.

Unfortunately, this post is not about how Jeremy Lin became a basketball superstar and I’m sure you’ll find hundreds of stories written about it all over the internet already. These post is about Jeremy Lin in Facebook. Those who admire Jeremy Lin will surely like and follow his Facebook pages but what about those who don’t like him?

Well, as I’ve said above, Facebook is open to anyone and anyone can create a Facebook Page about anything and everything. Unfortunately for Jeremy Lin, not everyone in Facebook likes him. What? You don’t believe me? Well, check out this Facebook page called Jeremy LIN Sucks and tell me I’m wrong.

Someone using the name Jeremy Lin Hating created the Jeremy LIN Sucks Facebook page and, as of this writing, 14 people liked the page already. Will more people like the Jeremy LIN Sucks Facebook page? I have no idea. What I know is, the number of people who like Jeremy Lin in Facebook is far more than those who doesn’t like him.

Currently, Jeremy Lin’s Facebook Page has 915,899 likes already. Now, compare that to the 14 people who liked the Jeremy LIN Sucks page and you will get a general picture of where most people stand in this LOVE and HATE battle.

So, if you have a Facebook account then now you’ll know which Facebook Page to follow. If you like Jeremy Lin then follow the Jeremy Lin Facebook Page but if you don’t like him then you can follow the Jeremy LIN Sucks Facebook Page (I hope you don’t though).

Anyway, like him or not, Jeremy Lin’s story and sudden rise to fame is impressive. It kinda gives people hope that someday they too can be like Jeremy Lin. Hopefully, this sudden fame won’t get into his head but, from what I’ve seen in his interviews, I don’t think he will have that problem.
