Did Juan Manuel Marquez Use Dirty Tactics Against Manny Pacquiao?

Juan Manuel Marquez was found stepping on Manny Pacquiao's foot during their last fight. Was it accidental or was it intentional? He was also found drinking colored drink during the fight as well. Was he cheating or was he allowed to do so?

Well, Juan Manuel Marquez is crying robbery after losing via Majority Decision against Manny Pacquiao. Of course, they can’t really prove that such a thing did happen. It was a close fight but I don’t think Juan Manuel Marquez did enough to win against the more aggressive Manny Pacquiao.

Yesterday, a local television channel showed Juan Manuel Marquez stepping on Manny Pacquiao’s foot several times during the fight. Was this accidental or intentional? Some people said it was accidental while others said it was intentional because it happened several times.

I did a little checking in YouTube and it seems that Manny Pacquiao also has a video that shows him stepping on Juan Manuel Marquez’s foot but the video only showed it happening twice. Was it accidental or intentional? Well, if it only happened twice then there is a good chance it was accidental.

I also found another video of Juan Manuel Marquez showing him drinking a colored drink, while in his corner, during the match. From what I can gather from the comments, it seems that colored drinks are not allowed and that only water is allowed during a match. Did Juan Manuel Marquez cheated by drinking colored water during the fight? Some says he did and some says he didn’t.

I did a little checking on boxing rules and I found that the World Boxing Council or WBC allows water and approved electrolyte beverages during a fight but I’m not sure if this is the same with the World Boxing Organization and others.

Unfortunately, until we know the exact rules implemented on that fight, we will never know if Juan Manuel Marquez broke any of it by drinking colored water during the fight. Who knows, maybe Juan Manuel Marquez was allowed to drink his own urine during the fight. LOL!
