I’m sure every Captain America fan is excited about the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger movie but it seems that not everyone is happy about the helmet-like head piece worn by Captain America in this movie. Some are even bitching about not including those little tiny white wings found on each side of Captain America’s head piece. Actually, Captain America still have them on his helmet-like head piece but they are somewhat painted on it and not stuck-out like those in the comic books.

At first, I was also not happy about it because I, kinda, wanted to see Captain America just like the way he is or was in the comic books and animation series but, after seeing how ridiculous Captain America looks in his original costume, I was glad they changed it. Seriously, Captain America in a real world setting looks ridiculous in his original costume but, don’t worry, the original costume is still in this movie and you will get to see how ridiculous it looks.

In fact, before becoming The First Avenger, Captain America is The All American Mascot. He travels all over the United States of America encouraging people to support their troops by purchasing certain items. The funds gained from these purchases were used to manufacture weapons, medicines, equipment, tools, supplies and food used in the war against the evil. He performs on stage with a group of female dancers and even appeared in different war movies.

As the All American Mascot, Captain America wears the original red, white and blue costume. He even has those little wings sticking out of his head-piece. Cool, right? Well, not exactly. As I’ve said, Captain America looks ridiculous in it. If you don’t believe me then take a look at the pictures below and compare them from the picture above.

As you can see, the helmet-like head piece is way better than the tight-like head piece with wings sticking out of it. Anyway, Captain America is a very good superhero movie and I enjoyed watching it very much. Now, I’m really excited about the Avengers movie that will be coming out next year because that is where they will continue the story of Captain America.
